The Concept of the Fest Home in Portland, Oregon is the Music Festival Experience.
As people gradually arrive to a festival campground, the fresh farm air begins to fill with the sweet smell of oils and incense. Music dances across the fields as the campers hang eclectic tapestries, creating connecting bungalows to welcome new friends into as the sun falls. Texture, space and color bring this essence into the design of the Fest Home. Hula hoops spin around cloth-draped feminine curves and spinning fire batons rage to pulsing beats to illuminate awe-struck onlookers. This is shown with energetic principles of rhythm, variety and unity in the space. A greater connection with the environment is present as the sun rises again and everything appears in its truest and most natural state. The design will encourage an open mindset where change is constant and exciting, as it is felt in the comfortable unpredictability of a music festival.
This was a project involving more in depth use of 3Ds max.
